To edit cartographic style, select the Edit tool from the Cartographic Styles ribbon group or from the Cartographic Style Manager. Alternatively, select Edit from the right click menu of the selected cartographic style in the Cartographic Style Manager.

If the selected style is shown as gray in the Cartographic Style Manager, it resides in the configured DGNLib and is read only. To edit a read only DGNLib style, a local copy must be made in the current model. Only local styles can be edited and deleted.

The Cartographic Style Editor opens which enables edits to be made to the offsets, colors, styles, widths, scales and ordering of the various components.
